Could I swim to scotland?

I live in liverpool and am thinking about doing a fundraiser to help with corona. I renember being told the scotland is rather close to the UK, and I used to be a solid swimmer in the day. I'm just not totally sure on the logistics; borders, distance and the like. Any help appreicated.

Not presently legal to swim from England to Scotland.

Have you not heard of the lockdown due to Covid?

'Scotland is rather close to the UK????" 'Scotland is a nation that is part of the U.K.

If you are going to swim from Liverpool to Southerness Point ; Dumfries & Galloway=, Scotland, the distance is some 120 miles. There are many strong tides in the Irish Sea , the sea area, notably the River Mersey, The Calf of Man and the Solway Firth.

By all means have a go!!! However, you must take a logistic boat with you to feed you and if you have to stop due to cold and/or tides they can get you out of the water.

1 - you can't travel. Scotland is further than a standard exercise trip permits.

    2 - look at a map.
