I don't like the toxic burn of raw onions, and I don't like that crunchy-squeeky thing they do when you bite into them. I love them sauteed tho, I can eat them like that by the bunch.

Some of the symptoms of an allergy is that you don't want them, they make you nauseated, make you brain sweat, eyes crossed and toes curled.
Yup I must be allergic to onions. No thanks, don't want them, Hold the onions, then rub your eyes.

Raw onions give me heart burn.
Cooked onions are fine (like caramelized onions on a steak sandwich).

No, some people just don't like onions. Now if you itched or felt nauseous or held swelling that could mean your allergic. I don't think not liking a smell or taste of food is a sign of allergy but it wouldn't hurt to ask again in the Health section
