how to make unsweetend loose leaf black tea in a crockpot?

Update:

I am seeing there are crockpot slow cooker recipes for other tea but mainly wonder how much loose leaf tea to put in a five quart crockpot  to make unsweetened ice tea from.

Black tea needs to have boiling water poured over it.    One tablespoon per 5-6 ounces of boiling water.

Black tea in a crock pot?   No.  Just no.

Just brew some proper black tea and then put it in the fridge.  What on earth is the crock pot for?

You could use a coffee basket and place a dish or other thing underneath to raise the level above the waterline and bring to a simmering boil til it reaches the strength you like.

Boil the water and then add the tea leaves.

Wouldn't think to make tea in a crockpot. Why? It shouldn't take that long.
