Iv recently found a cheque from my old accountant from 8 years ago the amount formed my tax refund whilst being self employed help ?

    Ask the accountant to re-issue the cheque. Strange that you dud not get the payment direct from HMRC

    If the check was issued by your government, there is nothing you can do...except kick yourself.
