If premium gasoline is not required you are just wasting money. Lower octane gas burns better than premium. Octane is the amount of inhibitors in the gas to keep the motor from pinging due to heat and compression.

you should use pure e85 instead. so the VTEC system can kick in at lowest possible RPM and all the way up to 16788 RPM.

p/s: Hector always use e85 on his Civics.

Won't hurt anything but your wallet.  Indeed It might "Clean" your engine a bit.   There are a few Service stations that switch around the regular and Premium  gas buttons, hoping some people will press the wrong button---making them more money.

As long as the gas does not contain ethyl-lead (unlikely these days as it will poison any catalytic convertor) then it should be ok.

yes.  though w can check what rating fuel is ideal in owners handbook. many modern cars can easily deal with different number fuel octane. It is often when we use too low and octane rated fuel we start to get issues such as 'pinking' .this is serious condition and can and will cause expensive damage if allowed to continue fo r any length of time.

There will be no harm whatsoever. Check your performance and mileage and tell us of any change. I'd expect slight performance and economy improvement.

Won't hurt it one bit but not required.

It's fine, it's just a waste but it won't hurt your car.
