Do most Latino / Hispanic-Americans view Islam positively or negatively?

They feel pretty negatively about the way predominantly Islamic countries treat minority Christians, but otherwise they don't waste their spare time worrying about other people's beliefs.

Positively. They are really biased to Islam and other reverse racists.

Americans are "Latino" because they were given rites under god by the Church who speaks Latin. The Latin church is more commonly called the Roman Catholic church.

Islam conflicts with their core ideology even if Latins don't technically support a theocratic state anymore ... even if we ignore all the other bad history.

Anyone who claims a heritage from Valle Latina or Iberia Hisapnia shouldn't even want to be around Muslims.

    Update @Leo -

The oldest Roman Theocracy supported blood lines. But, they're not called Latino or Hisapnic (it's a different inflection).

The Catholic church says blood lines (and genetic race) have no meaning. That's because the mythology behind "Latin blood" conflicts with Catholic doctrine.

And you can look up the term Reconquista if you want to see how Hispania felt about Islam.

Here in the US where it basically isn't a force at all? I'm more concerned with how we react to it than the religion itself.

More than likely negatively. Most Hispanics are Catholic.
