Am I being a sore loser?

My friend wanted me to try out a game called killer instinct, so I played about 10 matches with him and he won all of them, and when I would get close to beating him, he would tell me to stop. So I do, and after 10 matches of him beating me, I'm starting to not have much fun, because since we're using combo assist, we only have to spam one button to practically stunlock each other. But after the 10 matches I'm starting to not have much fun, so I quit the game, he started calling me a sore loser. Am I?

If your friend wont throw the match and let you win, don't stop when he says to stop just cause you're close to winning. You are being a good friend and letting him win over and over. He isn't doing the same for you and that isn't ever fun. I would quit playing too. He doesn't stop when he's about to win so you shouldn't stop when you're about to win. I don't think you're being a sore loser at all. You quit cause it wasn't fun. Being a sore loser is when you get angry, mean, petty and so on because you lost a time or two. If you respectfully quit playing and he called you a sore loser, he's just sad that he no longer gets the satisfaction of winning over and over.

honestly in my opinion no your not a sore loser he wanted you to play a new game and choose to beat you even when you came close to beating him in my opinion your friend hates loosing and he can't fathom letting you win he's a poor sport your not a sore loser your friend just has a ego that he can't swallow cause he doesn't like loosing and letting his friend who is a newbie at the game win a few rounds.
