Should I call 911 if I need roadside assistance?
Like, if my car breaks down, and I need a tow truck.

Sure.
They'll be ecstatic that you called an emergency line that is for immediate injury or danger for roadside assistance...

No 911 is for emergencies, life threatening, you need police or am ambulance, Call information to get a tow company number if you need to, or have towing on your insurance and call them

No. You call a tow truck company in the phone book. Or wave one down. Have your 4 way flashers on and your hood up and the tow truck people will spot you.
911 is if you are getting murdered or you are getting a heart attack or the house is on fire.EMERGENCIES.
You are just slightly inconvenienced at the moment if the car breaks down that is all.

No, you call AAA. Or if you like wasting money, don't get AAA, and call a tow truck.
