My 37 year old brother who has a masters degree, plays the game with all his co-workers. Some of them are even older than him.

(b)  No.  I am old enough to be your mother and I still play it occasionally.  I find it a good destresser, a boredom buster, actually so that cannot be a bad thing.  So long as you are not addicted and playing it all the time, to the point of ignoring other pursuits, then surely it is quite fine.
