Is VerzionMedia dot com associated with Verizon?
I received an email from this address and I am not sure if it's spam or actual stuff.
Please read clearly, I said VerzionMedia.
Also, this email is because of alleged ToS violations on Yahoo Answers so I believe this is the best category.

You shoulda make the "VerZion more clear. Could be a typo in your question and no one here would know. VerIzon is the name of the company.
VerZionmedia.com sounds like spam to me. Ignore it. There is no company called VerZion.com.

Yes. Verizon Media (formerly known as Oath) is the division of Verizon that runs Yahoo, AOL, Huffpost, and TechCrunch. See the link below.
.
Your question belongs in Yahoo Products>Yahoo Mail>Spam and Abuse as it's currently in Yahoo Products>Yahoo Answers and not applicable to this subcategory (and thus decreases your chances of getting many useful answers).
Moving your question can be done by clicking Edit (pencil icon for mobile)>Edit category just beneath your question, then selecting the category that's appropriate for the topic.

update: Daniel, are you absolutely certain about this? I received an email from them too. M account was later suspended., so whoever sent it does have that ability. But why would they use verzion rather than verizon??? Also, I see no mention of any association of Verizonmedia with verzionmedia anywhere on google.
I am very suspicious. I think they're a scam. They're using an ip address belonging to some company called 'bodis llc', and this IP address has been found to be used abusively.
