(-0.255/10^8)x^4-x-340.68 = 0 how to find x?

I'm not sure how to do this on paper without any help from a graphing calculator. This equation is used in one of my engineering classes, but I forgot how to solve this algebraically. Please help.

    (-0.255/10^8)x^4 - x - 340.68 = 0

    Real solutions:

    x ≈ -499.799

    x ≈ -420.116

    Complex solutions:

    x = 459.958 - 651.697 i

    x = 459.958 + 651.697 i

    (-0.255/10⁸)x⁴ - x - 340.68 = 0

    (-0.255•10⁻⁸)x⁴ - x - 340.68 = 0

    that is a quartic equation. it can best be solved graphically.
