Is it about time for Amazon to develop a more secure delivery than just throwing out valuables out affront our houses?  They'd just as well?

Your the receiving the package, you need to develop something for you home.  It isn't their problem, they are only responsible for sending and sometimes delivering the package.

i ask mine to put it in a secure location on my property and they do. there are amazon lockers where you pick it up BTW. Or make yourself one if you can.

As more people shop on-line and porch pirating becomes the more prevalent crime for thieves, we will eventually all have drop boxes instead of mail boxes that are secured with heavy duty locking mechanisms.

Its the newspaper culture of old remember American kids flinging the newspapers up the gardens as they wiz past on bikes in the old films , we  are in cars dont order anything heavy you could  lose an eye
