It means: "As far as I can see, life is scarcely worth living for you. You don't have any fun, and you have a very uninteresting job, and very few friends."

It means one's interests, activities, or some combination are too restrictive and there is a need for that person  to broaden her/his horizon. One example is You need to have (get) a life if you want to know how (fill in the name) feels about (whatever).

People seldom say "You don't have a life." The colloquial expression is "Get a life." Sometimes it means "You wouldn't be bothering me about something so trivial if you had anything better to do." More often it's just used as a meaningless insult, like so many other words.

However you do sometimes hear people say "I don't have a life anymore" when they are so overwhelmed by family, job, and other responsibilities that they have no time to relax or enjoy themselves.

You don't have a meaningful life when you betray your conscience, go astray from your ultimate goal of life.By the way, life can appear fruitless when there's no coherence between your thoughts and acts.
