What's your favorite cat breed? Why?

My favorite breed is Maine Coons.  They are family-friendly, can usually get along with everyone. They make adorable little sounds that sound like chirps! They are quite large (up to 25 pounds). They are super curious and smart and they can even be taught a few simple tricks! Maine coons are also widely perceived as one of the healthiest cats.

I love tabbies.

When we were looking for a cat , I couldn’t believe the prices for some breeds, up to £1000 for Maine Coons. Rag dolls abd Bengals were silky money too. Some Bengals were stunning like little Tigers or Leopards but the majority look so similar to tabbies, I think there is a big con going on there.

So we turned to our local rescue centre and they wanted a £200 “donation” for a cat. I thought I’d be doing them a favour giving a cat a new home.

So we ended up getting one off gumtree for £10. Perfectly healthy nice looking cat, domestic long hair, the owners had got a new dog and they weren’t getting along. 

I always owned Siamese I just can't get enough. But I also owned Burmese, Persian, Himalayan. A lady I worked for had a ragdoll and he was gorgeous too!

I like female brown tabbies because they tend to stay home.  But now I'm being approached by a Blue Russian, and I am beginning to collude with her.  

I love Ragdolls!!!

The Ragdoll cat breed is large, powerful, and imposing with distinctive markings. 

However, the cat is extremely relaxed and laid back giving the floppy ragdoll impression. The broad head has a flat top and is wide between the ears. The deep blue eyes are large. The body is long and muscular with a broad chest, short neck and sturdy legs. The paws are large round and tufted and the tail is long and bushy. The Ragdoll cat's coat is silky and dense and of medium to long length, and on adult cats there should be a ruff and knickerbockers. There are three different coat patterns in the Ragdoll cat breed and each pattern comes in four colours. There is also a mitted Ragdoll cat with additional white markings.

And love their eyes!

I have no interest in purebred cats.

Regular domestic cats are just fine for me.
