Why am I getting Authentication error. Server returned error "[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later." on my Gmail account. ?
Been set up for decade or more. Now has stopped working

Apparently a fix to this issue is to generate an "App password" e.g. go to Yahoo Mail > Account Info > Account Security > scroll down to "Manage app passwords", generate a password, for example "Android Mail", copy the password safely and then edit the Yahoo account info in your Gmail "Accounts and Import" area with the new generated password, that should get it up and running. Maybe Yahoo blocked 3rd party email providers from using the normal password and they are counting them as "apps/devices" I guess.. who knows since nobody is giving updates on what is happening to Yahoo Mail in general..

I have received an email at some point that i can't forward emails from yahoo anymore if i have the free version. Can't find it now
