I reluctantly invited several coworkers to my house for a dinner party but Im a terrible cook! Any ideas?

Update:

Covid-19 concerns: This is an outdoor party. I also have a small guest house where people can gather to separate from each other. Not to mention, there is a maze garden where there are small seating nooks where people can walk around and not feel so squeezed.  There will only be 10-15 people. I live in the Florida Keys, so dining outdoors is doable.

Ask everyone to dress semi casual and wear a nice shirt and maybe a tie or blazer if they want, and have cocktails. While this is happening, just cook some fish, using a frying pan and a half table spoon of butter if the pan is large. Cook until you can see the fish getting crispy. If you want though, pizza will wow them and you can have pizza, or steak if possible. If you get pizza, just order from a restaurant or get takeout, get sushi if you want!

Have a taco bar or a BBQ for a hot dog/hamburger and all the fixings. Order potato salad and other side dishes from the deli. Put the deli made salads in a bowl, garnish with a red pepper ring and some parsley...you are good to go.

Keep it simple and prepare everything in advance. Ask for a volunteer to flip burgers, if you must. Enjoy your company and don't be chained to the kitchen.

This is what cookbooks are for. I know there must be at least 100000 outdoor dinner party suggestions available--and surely you can follow a recipe? Outdoor parties depend on a lot of finger foods--things that don't require refrigeration or complicated prep work. SIMPLE stuff--like grilled meats, salads, fruits and vegetables--these don't require a lot of culinary expertise to put together. You don't have to be a great cook to do this.

Additionally, you can find scads and scads of pre-prepared foods at your local grocery store! Already cooked! ready to eat!

Admit you bit off more than you could chew and make it a potluck, or enlist (in advance) the help of some of your guests.

Buy some KFC chicken. KFC always pleases.

This is what caterers and delicatessens are for.

If people will be walking around and you do not have a set seating area for dining then finger foods would be a great option.

There are many appetizers you can buy now that would work.

Something like Lasagna is easy enough to make.  Any pasta dish for that matter would be easy.

Change it to a "pizza party" and just order a variety of pizzas or get several kinds of frozen pizza or many places offer "take and bake" pizzas.

"small guest house where people can gather"

Gathering people in a small indoor space is a GREAT way to spread the cooties.  And if you're feeding/watering them, they will not have masks on.

Another idiot Floridian trying to kill a few thousand more people.

Food?   If you can't cook you get it catered or order delivery/take-out or you have a pot-luck or you buy a frozen lasagna or whatever.

I swear to Bob you people must have rocks for brains.
