    Any day is Your "best" If you Make It So.

    Jan 2 will be al right. On  New Years day I plan to drive to  the Superstitions and hike with my fiancé and my dog. Maybe stay in a hotel in Mesa. It gets up to is 80 Degrees up there in January at the "Dutchman  mine" trail..*

    * i put this in quotes as I've read 3 books on the so-called : "lost Dutchman mine" and I don't believe there ever Was one  Nor a curse, it gets 116 in  up there in summer, the box canyons and heat can get disorienting. I get a a Weird  feeling  from those mountains....

    It'd be a lot better if it weren't in the dead of winter, in my opinion.
