I like BBC America. Katty Kay, Laura Trevelyan , and others are straight shooters and inciteful in their reporting of the news. As they also do a far better job in reporting important things rather than trivia I get a better picture of how the rest of the world is also doing.

Use multiple sources of information. If need be news from foreign countries.
To assess the accuracy of the information given.
All news channels in order to continue operating won't question or hold government promoted spin to account.
Unless of course you want to be taken in by BS.

I check all channels I know who have News: CNN, MSNBC, PBS, BBC America, FOX (even if they are sometimes way off base). Also check on line for news from newspapers.

Are there any? I gave-up on anything NBC, CBS or ABC years ago. Tried getting multiple viewpoints from Fox & CNN - but CNN & MSNBC apparently target juveniles and PBS/NPR are only worried about LGBTQ++++++. Fox has been going down hill . . . . . the BBC I can get is the made-for-America version and biased . . . . I've heard that Newswatch is better, but I can't get it on Spectrum. So . . . . .
