How many miles can I drive on 1/4 of a tank?

I am currently driving a SUV 2014 Hyundai SantaFe. Also I don’t really drive a lot, about  3-4 times a week

Update:

Depends on the size of the tank, the fuel economy of the vehicle, and your driving style.

You're asking this in the wrong category. Click on Edit and move your question to the section called "Cars and Transportation". You'll find sub-sections there for each major brand of car.

The tank will hold around 13 U.K. gallons. If you’re in the U.K. , that’s going to be a diesel , so easy 40mpg. So 1/4 tank is 3.25 gallons x 40 = 130 miles . I would say 100 to be safe and ensure you don’t get stranded.

If you’re USA, it’s probably gas , so probably 25 mpg , (Imp), so more like 81, say 60 to be safe.

noone here can give you that figure. You can however work it out for yourself.

1/ Fill the tank, zero the trip meter.

2/ drive your usual route/s until tank is about half empty.

3/ Refill the tank, record the trip meter reading & the amount of petrol needed to fill the tank.

4/ Calculate your fuel consumption in miles/gallon or km/litre or litres/100km.

5/ Check in the car's specifications the actual size of the fuel tank.

6/ NEVER run the tank completely empty - that will suck up any junk in the bottom of the tank so take a gallon (or 5l ) from the tanks capacity. This will give you a figure for the useable amount of fuel you have. You know your consumption & useable fuel capacity. Simple arithmetic will give you your total range.

Always zero the trip meter on refilling it gives a more reliable range reading than the consumption figure on the dash. (Also gives an indication of state of tune/wear in the engine - If you find you're getting less distance per tankfull something is wrong)

This all depends on the tank size, egine size and the way you drive. With out knowing these factors one has no idea!

Let me drive it 3 or 4 times a week, then I could tell you how far I could drive it on a quarter tank. Anyone who has driven the vehicle should have an educated guess as to its fuel economy. All answers here are just guesses.

Every car I've had since 1985 has had miles-per-gallon, and, miles-to-empty readout.  If you can't figure that out, there's nothing we can do here to educate you.

Right up to the point where the engine sputters and dies due to lack of fuel...

Read your owners manual there should be dashboard setting that tells you the Miles to Empty.
