Do you know any outdated expressions we still use?

DIAL the telephone.   Even with a push button phone we still say "dial" the number.    ROLL the window down on your car.   They are push button but we still say ROLL as old car windows went down with rollers.    Do you know of any other expressions that we still use that are based on old technology?   Thanks.

"Put that in the icebox". Meaning the fridge. Even though born in the 1950s, we never had an icebox.

And of course, "dial the phone". No body says, 'key in the number'

Source(s): Phone companies and businesses started saying, "key in the number" in the 1970s. But it never caught on

I still say, "Dial this number" when the dial has been gone for decades now.

I sometimes say "Where is the dial?" when looking for the TV remote.
