"The Last Word of a Bluebird"
When first read as a boy it sounded like a fanciful (comical even) meeting between a man and a talking crow. Read again as a young man it speaks to how children deal with loss and the passing of time. Read in middle age age it is clearly about grieving and the human need to believe in rebirth and renewal.

Fire and Ice. a little odd but it's a good one. I think Mr.Frost has a poem for each mood there ever was or will be.

"The Aim Was Song" It's a myth about the origin of art and its place in the world relative to nature (hint: it rules the natural world—the wind makes noise but human wind (song and then eventually poetry) has a definitive aim (hence the poem's title). Strongly recommend the poem.

My favorite poem by Robert Frost is, "The Road Not Taken." It offers a thought process including parallel worlds, opening one up to them. Something that fascinates me as a theorist and some one that likes sci-fiction.
