Would Cuba be a popular cruise destination if we didn't have an embargo against it ?

It's not far from Jamaica or the Cayman Islands or other popular cruise destinations

    Yes- for a while, Obama opened up travel to Cuba, and I know quite a few people who took cruises there- and many more who planned to. Then Trump shut it down again. Cuba was a wildly popular vacation spot back in the 30s and 40s- there are several movies that feature this,

    A few years ago, cruises did go to Cuba.  They just didn't embark from the US.  I know a few people who went and really enjoyed it.  But Cuba doesn't have the port infrastructure necessary to handle many ships.
