A song that comes to my mind is called " Boys in the street "

by Greg Holden and Seeb.

It's an electronic based song which is NOT for everyone. But the lyrics, if you read them and listen. Tell a story about a boy that grew up gay and his father never approved. But as his father got older and realized he couldn't change his son, he finally told his son it was ok. Basically telling his son before he died, that I accept you for who you are my son.
