Is Valentine’s Day depressing to single people?

It can be.
My son invited several of his single friends over and they all went to the movies.
He said he's celebrating the fact that he was NOT with his ex any longer!
His friends agreed to celebrate that fact with him.

No. Because God is with me, and he keeps me company in my heart.

If you know God,
many would say,
You would not celebrate
Valentine’s Day.
For it originated
with the myth Cupid,
An ancient false god
of some who were stupid.
So this card reflects,
in a poetic way,
Why I don’t celebrate
The worlds celebrations should not dictate how a person should feel.
It is not a law or scriptural, in fact God loves those who follow him and not the earthly manmade celebrations....
So there is no reason for one to be depressed if they want to please God instead of imperfect mankind....

Definitely. That's a huge part of why I don't like Valentine's Day. If a had a girlfriend or a wife, it might be different. But I'm a single man.

Nope. Because my birthday is just less than 2 weeks after Valentine's Day, I use it as an excuse to spoil myself. This year, I got myself a premium bouquet of 12 roses, 2 heart shaped boxes of chocolates, 2 stuffed animals, and a sapphire ring that I had customized just for me. It's also my 29th birthday coming up, so I wanted the official last year of my 20's to be extra special, so I went all out just for me!
