Who writes those click-bait stories?
Someone takes an ordinary three-sentence item from the news and stretches it out to 20 or 30 little pieces you have to click through. They always have the same kind of lame non-native-speaker language in them. Are there companies that do this?

I don't know, but I agree the grammar is horrid. I never go very far with those stories.

it's an advertisement ... designed to get you following along while the sponsors plug their wares and services. might be this is done by advertising agencies.
