Are you for or against getting the covid vaccination?

If its available to you, why wouldn't you get it?

For, but you can’t force people. I’m fed up with the news telling us there’s a low uptake in “deprived” areas.

They won’t say the Muslims have been brainwashed into believing it contains pork or some other reason why Allah forbids it.

    If they

want to die, that’s up to them, but why are we putting extra resources into persuading these people , when others ( including me with a wife with low immunity) are waiting?

The major of Manchester’s answer to the low uptake? Make more vaccine available . Ffs. How stupid is that.

I'll get it when supply outstrips demand.  I'm an introvert and telework.  I'm neither high risk from the virus, nor a particular threat to spread it.  So I should be the lowest of priorities to get it.

IMHO, we should have targetted super-spreader type people in our early vaccination.  That's predominantly how this thing has been spreading.  While we don't KNOW that the vaccine prevents spread, it almost certainly at least NARROWS the window when a person is infectious.  So it's likely to help.

I had the virus from December 18 to January 2 (Merry F***ing X-mas and Happy G** D*** New Year) and will get the shot as soon as possible, especially after hearing that people who had the virus are still susceptible to the new British variant making its way through the US.

    Waiting for the call..........

I'm 100% for ANYTHING that will wipe out this pandemic, so yeah. It is here in my state, however, I am waiting for all the elderly, immune compromised, and essential workers to get it before me. I fall into the 20-40's healthy range, so I'm not as important as those that NEED it.
