Would you care if your brother or sister got shot with a gun at school by another student?

Of course I would be heartbroken if a sibling was shot and/or killed by another student - or by anyone, for that matter.

If you're being threatened or had been, including something as violent as involving a gun, please let the police know about it.  Unfortunately, people may follow through on their threats, and one should *not* just shrug it off but instead talk with law enforcement, including letting one's parents and siblings know about it as well.

Heck, I'd care if YOUR brother or sister got shot, never mind mine.
