Help with driveway asphalt job - how to hire the right person and what I should know regarding the work?

I need my driveway ripped out and redone and yet I trust not one of the people who've given me an estimate. I thought I found one ((Angie's List) but then I saw a bad BBB review and several one star reviews on Google. Then the company seems to have one name on Angie's List but another on caller ID. How do I find a solid reputable person to do this work? And how do I know they are doing it right and the price is fair? Thank you.

    Your best bet is to walk around the neighborhood and ask your neighbors who did theirs, since it is easy to manipulate online reviews.
