Is Soy bad for Autism?

I am 22 y/o, I have got Autism Spectrum Disorder (I was diagnosed in year 6). I feel like it is BS, I found this source online from someone who I got been put on that gluten free and dairy free diet just to improve my autism and never I have realised that it is a fake treatment, I am on dairy free because I am dairy torlent  because of my body)and they sent me this page saying that Don't eat soy ever ever ever ever ever ever.

New research has shown that despite being marketed as a healthy alternative, soybean oil, America’s most popular oil, causes neurological changes in the brains of mice, and may contribute to autism and dementia in humans.

From Alzheimer’s to autism

The study is published in Endocrinology, a scientific journal, and it shows that when soybean oil is fed to mice it has major impact on their hypothalamus, an area of the brain crucial for regulating mood and behaviour.

Do you think Soy is bad for autism?

I personally believe it is BS.

There diet / brain connection is not fake.  It's based on the enteric nervous system (ENS) which includes the vagus nerve.

This connection is why many brain behavioral drugs are also successful at improving digestive issues.

It is also why a clean diet (non-processed foods) improves neurological & cognitive health and mental illnesses, which includes people on the autism spectrum.

Soy is not good for most people because of how it changes the estrogen levels.  Both genders need estrogen but in general people don't need more.

No. Autism is the result of an under-developed brain and there's no evidence that dietary changes have any effect one way or the other.

Soy contains phytoestrogens called isoflavones that may mimic the activity of the hormone estrogen in your body. The effects of soy isoflavones on human estrogen levels are complex. Soy is safe for everyone to consume in moderation and can have a modest effect on estrogen levels.

This can trigger hormone imbalances in males, leading to altered behavior and mood.
