Why can some people not laugh at themselves ?
Not in a self hating way but it can make awkward and otherwise embarrassing moments better by laughing. So many celebrities' are this way. But so many people I mean if you do something embarrassing or are in a awkward moment then why can you not laugh? Why take everything so seriously

Many people take themselves too serious. Self deprecation can be both truthful and humorously entertaining at the same time.

People are more egoistic and self centered nowadays. I don't know what changed in them. Few years back it looked fine, but now it looks like most of the people are just stressed and depressed.
