Why use Chrome?
I don't see any point in using Chrome any more. Edge is faster, has more privacy and uses the chrome store too.

My systems are Linux, so I use Chromium and Firefox. Not sure if Edge is available.

Chrome is designed to be the fastest web browser. With one click, it loads web pages, multiple tabs, and applications with lightning speed. Chrome is fitted with V8, a faster and more powerful JavaScript engine. Chrome also loads web pages faster by using the WebKit open source rendering engine.

when your Macintosh computer cannot update anymore, chrome is still updating so there is one reason, unsupported Macs can still get the latest chrome.

Edge and chrome are both very similar these days, they are both based off chromium.
Use whichever you prefer, they are both essentially the same with a few small differences.

Chrome is cross platform, Edge is not. I have multiple computers using several OS systems. Chrome supports them all.
