What happened to Siri? She startled me just now.?

For the last few years I've been using Siri for the weather.

I just say,"Hay Siri" and the mic opens with a dink dink sound and I say, 'What's the temperature outside?".  and she replies by saying, "Its forty four degrees outside".

Now at this point, if I need further information I have to say "Hay Siri" again to open the microphone. But for some reason it didn't happen that way.

This last time I asked Siri what the temperature was outside, after she said "Its seventeen degrees outside",  I was a bit surprised at the temperature drop, I said, "Really, you don't say"?,  and she immediately replied, "Of course, I'm not permitted to use expletives".

She has never replied to my comments about her answers before. What now?

Does this mean she's becoming more aware of what I'm saying now all the time?
