What do you think of people who speak with 'vocal fry'?

I find it repulsive, sophomoric and provincial.

Same goes for people starting sentences with 'Ssooo..'. breaking up every, like, sentence with, like' 'like' and 'uptalking'.Ghastly people!

Vocal fry annoys me. It's very unpleasant to listen to. I have stopped watching TV shows and youtube videos when the vocal fry became too much for my ears.

I know. It's driving me crazy. There's a decorating show on Netflix that I can't watch because of the vocal fry. It's a trend- like Valley Girl speak in the 90s. It's mostly young women who do it. I hope it's a passing fad.
