Why ask on this forum when you could easily get a better answer from Google, as you yourself had written in your question?

Because if you type a "why?" question on google, it will give you "how to" answers, which you already know "how to" you just want to know why. At least on here you have more of a guarantee that an actual human will know the answer to your question

You have to have the right prompt to get good results from Google which has been re-geared from helping you find information to helping companies and advertisements find you.

Hey Google: How far is it in kilometers from Kansas City to Saint Louis? Hey Yahoo: Where's the best place for brisket on the trip?

Sometimes you might need a personalised opinion on something that google can't other. Other times, you're in the mood to kick the butts of prejudiced, sexist, racist, homophobic Trump supporters :3
