How can i tell the Best Buy installer that my subwoofer is more powerful than i thought and i am just not happy with it?

I tried but she said "im sorry but there is nothing electronically wrong with it, i cant give you a refund"

Update:

Jesus thank you for that information. I did not know they made  volume controls you can buy at Radio Shack for less than $10.

I cant believe the worker at Best Buy was not even smart enough to tell me that. She made me waste gas money just to go over there.

It's a very simple and inexpensive matter to purchase a volume control at any radio shack and just put it on one of the wires on the subwoofer. You can completely adjust the thing to be as powerful or subtle as you want it to be and the adjustment cost less than $10

  • It's usually loud for a person that has never been inside a car with a subwoofer. But If I jumped into your car, I would be laughing if you think it's powerful. My subwoofer hits up to 152 dB which is extremely loud. Don't worry, I am still alive and my subwoofer is no more louder than the XF-84H and the F-105.

Yeah like the other user said just wear ear plugs. Thats what Steve Meade does. I see him wear earplugs all the time as he rides around in his Tahoe. And he see seems fine. Often times too comfortable. The moral of the story? Hang around Car Audio legends and you will learn a thing or 3.
