I am in Birmingham and here librarians are threatened with death for not placing the koran on the top shelf. Whites are ordered off buses by Pakistanis in Sparkbrook, an area that was all English before WW2 victory.

I think Ron's idea is the best. Make friends with a non-white, if you can. You will come to see that they are not such bad people. In fact, some of might prove to be gems of persons.

In any case, there is no other way but to accept the new scenario and move on.

Do you suppose that the cultures that are migrating would have the same question?  Why don't they adopt their culture to accommodate their new host country?  We all have our cultural biases.  Be grateful that you are not the one migrating because of poor living conditions.

There is no such thing in the U.K., we have ghettos. Unlike the adverts where every family is mixed race, it rarely happens especially with Muslims.

Parts ( most?) of London , Manchester , most of West Yorks and many other cities , have large areas that are ethnic only.

Well, all those Irish moved in.  Now your multicultural.  And behind that came the Scottish and the French.  Add a few Belgians and Germans and Russians and there you are, a melting pot of hate all in the same place having to put up with each other.  Now, bring in the Africans and the Asians and it gets really dicey as now there are plenty of cultural differences to hate on.  Take your choice.  It is not going to go away.  You must co-exist with many cultures right on top of you and in you and around you.  You are submerged in it.  How do you deal with it?  Sounds like your not doing so well.

Make friends if you can. People are unfriendly and strange until you know them. You are unfriendly and strange until they know you. It's a two-way relationship and you will get what you give.

One of the best things about multiculturalism is all the interesting food. Try out a few different ethnic restaurants.  Not only is the food interesting you'll get to meet some nice people too.  The more you talk to people the more you find out that we have more in common than any differences.  And sometimes the differences can be interesting.  If you don't know how to talk to people try watching some Bald and Bankrupt on YouTube (he's the master at making small talk with strangers from different backgrounds).
