Have you ever seen a person and thought that if they took more care of themselves they would be more attractive? ?

Yes back in the 70s and his name was Elvis Presley.

That's great news because I can't stand my finger nails long. When the white starts showing I clip them.

Many, many times. One would think that if you were fortunate enough to be born with an attractive figure and disposition, etc, that you would take the opportunity learn how to present yourself to take full advantage of your good fortune.
Of course, it all depends whether you care enough make the effort, and it WILL INDEED require considerable effort to learn how to do this.
By NOT showing any interest to achieve the end result means that the self discipline necessary can just be disregarded.
You don't have to care how you dress, how you speak, whether you have manners of not, and whether you produce feelings of disgust. You can eat like a pig, end up looking like one , and care not a xxxx, and with that attitude I think that you will be very, very happy. And alone.

I've had thoughts like "needs a haircut" or "ew, grody feet." But nothing so complex or thoughtful as what you describe.
If we're talking about styled hair, make up, painted nails, then one mans "why doesn't she fix herself up?" is another man's "she'd look better without all the fuss and artifice."

most people dont care whether or not you think they are attractive. you're shallow. there is more to life than physical appearance.
Source(s): seeing that you're shallow enough to think things like this, is even more of a reason why they should stay the way they are. they shouldnt change what they do just so a shallow idiot like you will think different of them. go fuck yourself. - Pat WoodenLv 71 month ago
Sure, I've seen people wearing messy hair styles and clothes that don't flatter them, but I also know there can be good reasons for them looking that way, such as:
* Being overwhelmed by stresses at home or at work* Getting tired of unwanted attention from men when they do try to look nice* Being so tired of other people criticizing them that they have adopted an "I don't give a d*mn attitude

Oh yes, sure. I guess it all comes down to what the person cares about or wants. The one thing I notice is hair, which is not hard to change at all. Many have hair that is too long, too dry, too frizzy, and a simple change would drastically improve their appearance. Clothes are another matter but there are some who just don't care about what they wear. And nice clothes don't have to cost a lot of money, if that is their concern.
