Is it normal that I'm not allowed to have any online friends? ?
I'm 17. I'm not allowed any form of online friends, even though I'm full time online schooled + rarely get to leave the house and thus have almost no way to meet new people. If I made online friends and was caught talking to them on things like discord in the past my mom would take away all my electronics. Is this normal/healthy? It feels like she is trying to isolate me.

She's probably just overprotective and trying to keep you safe. I think it's normal nowadays to have internet friends especially at your age. As long as youre being safe you should try to convince her to let you make new friends. I've met pretty amazing people online .
