Why can't chess players calculate moves as good as bots?
There's still bots out there that can calculate moves better (or just as good) than the best players, why is chess so strategy focused rather than focused on calculation? This is coming from a 500 rated player so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question lol
Isn't calculation better than intuition though?

In a way, the human brain is better than a computer.
The computer thinks in a linear way. It makes predictions in a straight pattern. The human brain can use intuition. It doesn’t link together. Computers can’t do that.

Human brains work just way, way too slow compared to a PC. Plus our memory is not so great. Oh. And we get tired.
