What state should I visit?

You should visit Maine. I used to camp in Acadia in the summer and we would go up Cadillac Mountain.

Well, we should be good for having Mardi Gras next year, so why not come misbehave in New Orleans in February 2022?

Minneapolis is safe (just don't wander in strange neighborhoods after dark).  Remember, too, that Minneapolis has only two seasons:  (a)  Winter and (b) the last week of July, so be sure to dress warmly.  Other great states to visit, for the scenery, and not like Arizona at all, including California, New York, Kentucky, Florida.  Safe travels.

Yosemite National Park and the Avenue of the Giants in California are safe and beautiful! I'm from Minnesota 60 miles from the Twin Cities. If you want to have a fun time and enjoy it try some place else like Hawaii! I'm sure you saw the riots on the TV last year. Not everyone there is a knucklehead but there are definently a lot nicer places! I've been to 48 states so far and my top 4 are Hawaii, California, Colorado and  Florida. All have their problems, but I just stay out of those areas of the states and Cities! Minnesota ranks around the 20th state. All the TU were mine

There are safe and good places in very single state.

There are safe fun places in Chicago and bad areas in Chicago.

Use your common sense. Stay away from unpopulated areas. Know where you are going. 

Minneapolis has a lot of outdoor activities around it, it has the Mall of America.  What do you want to do while you are there? 

lol @ Minneapolis not being safe. It's just another city. 

But for something really different I'd go with New England. You'll see more than one because they're so small. 

alaska? im thinking of going there myself. midnight sun, 60-70 degrees in summer, bears etc. also minnesota is safe---dont let media fool you. i go there every couple of yrs to visit my moms side of the family. its msotly just cornfields. most of minnesota is vstly differetn than miniapolis. but most of it is very boring. hot in the summer as well. 

Try Washington or Oregon, on the coast. Can't get much different from Arizona than that.

Try visiting Burlington, Vermont
