Is Griffin a good boy name?

I love Griffin. It’s uncommon and nice sounding . Preston is one of my favorite names

It is not enough to be Griffin.

It has to be: Griffin Cola Pinto. lol

The name Griffin is a boy's name of Latin origin meaning "strong lord".

Just like thousands of other names, both Griffin and Preston are good last names as first names.  I love the name Griffin although I am not fond of it being shortened to Griff.  Preston is only oaky to me.  Shortening it to Pres is awful.

Preston is alright. But Griffin make me think of the mythogical beast. Lind'a ugly.

It's different.  I don't mind it.

I am not a fan of either name. They both sound like surnames to me. 

I think so but I wouldn't use it because my brother had a dog named Griffin. 

I don't like Preston.
