Are you a “teetotaler” for any alcoholic drinks! Which ones?

Like are there any kind of types of alcohol you wouldn’t touch or drink no matter what? For me maybe Vodka and whiskey. I do like beer, but I think I would be against vodka, whiskey, and hard alcohol drinking.

A teetotaler doesn’t drink any alcohol.  For myself, I drink beer and (occasionally) wine.  I rarely drink liquor - maybe once or twice a year, if that.  I’ve never had much of a taste for it.

I don't drink as much beer as I use to. I like Scotch and Bourbon. My wife likes Vodka but I don't see how she can drink that tasteless **** and not like my Scotch and Bourbon.

Georgia Moon.  I can drink just about anything I've had before, but that's a non-starter.

I also generally avoid tequila and tend to stay away from gin.

A teetotaller drinks NO alcohol at all. If you drink no spirits but drink low to moderate amounts of beer, cider, wine etc, you are a light or moderate drinker, definitely not a teetotaler. Similar to how a person who eats [for example] no pork, lamb or beef, but does eat [for example] chicken, turkey and/or fish, cannot be described as vegetarian, even if he only eats these meats occasionally. Neither can a person who eats no meat in the week but still has a Sunday roast. The first of these examples [poultry and fish but no mammalian meat] is a pesco-pollotarian or pollo-pescatarian - the terms are interchangeable. The second example is flexitarian.

Back to the original question, I'm teetotal [no alcohol at all - ever] for health/medical reasons.

Like the others, I too know what a teetotaller is but since you put it in inverted commas I guess you do as well. In any case I understand what you mean.

I'd say no, there are no alcoholic drinks I'd refuse to drink (unless I wanted no alcohol at all) but there are plenty I wouldn't actually choose.

By definition teetotalers don't drink any adult beverages.
