If a cat was being attacked by a pack of dogs would you help the cat? ?

    Of course you would try to. But keep in mind that cats can climb trees and dogs cannot.

    Since I have no desire to be attacked, NO. I'd alert animal control to come deal with them.

    Yes, if the cat needed help.  But I'm thinking the cat will be in a tree or on the roof, and the dogs will be jumping up and down barking until they get tired of it.

    As I was chased by a pack of dogs and one of them bit me, no, I wouldn't. I couldn't! I still have a fear of strange dogs, especially angry ones barking, so I would turn around about 100metres before I could see a cat.

    In any emergency situation, there is not much you can do unless you have the right training. I would only do what I could without getting myself hurt as well.

    Only to a point. Some dogs will NOT be deterred short of killing them. THE CAT IS ON ITS OWN - sorry cat !!
