Why is 2k incapable of successfully doing a game that is a hybrid of arcade and simulation?
To my knowledge no basketball game has combined both the arcade aspects of NBA jam with a regular simulation basketball game even though it could easily be a separate mode and added feature.
Wrestling games like Here Comes the pain and some smackdown vs raw games combined both but 2K is incapable of it
all 2k appears to be capable of doing is recycling old modes, character models and finding ways to charge a person for microtransations

2 simply reasons
1. They are greedy and do not want to make a game that is too good as is because they want people to continue to pay for features that should have already been in it
2. They are egotistic. They do not want to admit that THQ did a better job. They don't want to admit that they suck without yukes. It kills them hearing over and over how great older generation games are and rather then revise old feature to something better, replication old features, they rather just be petty and say they no best regardless of what the fans say
