I live in Australia & have never bought anything off Amazon. Are they safe people to deal with?

I buy a lot of things from Amazon and I haven't ever had a problem with them. I would consider them safe.

They are one of the world's most legitimate websites to purchase from, sir. Do compare the prices that you'd be expected to pay against the very same product on eBay though, as with MANY items you'll find that prices are OFTEN cheaper on eBay, which is also another of the world's most legitimate websites to purchase from.
Make sure that you read carefully about products that you are interested in purchasing to make sure that there are no import duties/taxes that YOU would be expected to pay if the goods are coming from overseas.
