When out alone, what time do you try and get back home ?

If you go somewhere in the evening by yourself, what time do you try and get home considering things like safety and travel time as a lone traveller?

I usually try and get back for 9- 9 30, and will leave a place at 8-9pm as I feel unsafe after 9pm.

Update:

Maybe sometimes I may get back by 10pm but that's not very often if out alone.

Where do you live that there is a 9pm cutoff for safety?

It depends on where I am and what I'm doing.  But I generally don't feel unsafe because I don't choose unsafe places to stay.

These days, it's before dark. I don't like driving in the dark any more.

Where are you? How are you traveling? I don't know of many places where it's unsafe to come home after 10 pm.

In Russia, any time. Our teenage son may come in from walking at 10 or 10.30. There is a 10 PM curfew for under 18s, but not really enforced. Life is safe here. No gunz, few idjits to meddle with you.
