Does anyone else enjoy writing erotica in personal journal entries?

I haven't done it myself but I don't think its weird. I used to have a friend who wrote Avatar the last Airbender sexual fanfics, and another friend who wrote sexual league of legends or Marvel fanfics, and sometimes they would add in original characters to the stories that were basically just themselves. My one friend said it helped him relieve stress, feel more confident and become a better writer. So I dont think there's anything wrong with it at all as long as understand that the stories aren't reality. 

I like to read it. Anne Rice's Beauty trilogy are my favorites.
