What to do for extremely sore muscles?

They’re so painful, i can’t even stand up to walk across the room, I’ve taken ibuprofen and paracetamol and it’s not even touched it. I tried having a hot bath and it didn’t do anything 

Update:

If i was gonna see a doctor i wouldn’t post on yahoo answers lol. Nobody goes to the doctor for sore muscles

    Sore muscles from WHAT? Exercise? RA, lupus, thyroid issues? The treatment depends on what's causing it. See a doctor.

    Sore muscles are the result of lack of exercise or working.
