When when you wake up after a good sleep, why is your bladder so full?

I have to start the day by voiding. What can I do to ensure bladder isn't full after I wake up

If you want to change it, make sure you set your alarm clock a few times during the night (say, every 2-3 hours) to go to the bathroom. If you do so, in the morning your bladder will be almost empty.

Kidneys never sleep.  If you go to bed blind drunk, set your alarm clock to get up and piss in the middle of the night.  But then what will your OCD have to worry about in the morning?

How long have you been sleeping? It is perfectly normal to need to urinate after only 4 hours of sleep and abnormal if you don't need to after 8 hours.

The answer should be obvious to you.

Learn to urinate in your bed while you sleep.  You will wake up with an empty bladder and can get on with your day immediately.

Stop drinking 3-4 hours before bedtime.

Everyone starts the day by voiding. You've gone all night without releasing any urine.
