Who were the most knowledgeable deniers?
I know, it's something of an oxymoron, but some were definitely more on the ball than others. Here at the end of YA it's pretty much the bottom of the barrel. Here's how I would rank them--I apologize in advance for all that I've forgotten:
1. Randall (Didier Drogba)
2. Dr Jello
3. Ottawa Mike
4. graphicconception
5. Wilds_of_Virginia
6. Bravozulu (twin brother of JimZ)
7. Kano
8. CO2 Expeller (he was so crude, though, it's hard to give him credit for anything)
Sagebrush, The Yahoo Joker, Daro and Solar Wind are all tied at the bottom. Special mention to JimZ for being a very good science student in high school and college that is now hopelessly blinded by his political views.

I have no idea who Randall (Didier Drogba) is.
I don't know Dr Jello either, but have heard a lot about that user here.I think OM was very smart, generally polite (although sneaky and subtly insulting with you and another scientist that knew a lot about oceans, which I shall not name especially). OM could definately do math and basic physics and had a way to twist his questions with the finesse of an extraordinary sophist. In retrospect, he could have been paid to post here, but I'm not sure. I liked him.
graphicconception also knew how to do math and some physics (basic as mine I guess) I'm not sure he was as ''good'' as OM, but he was also polite as a typical British person can be. I liked him too.
Wilds of virginia, I hardly knew, so IDK if he had good arguements or not, but I respect him because he din't believe the troll's lies about everyone being you. But this has nothing to do with his knowledge.
I did not know Bravozulu but have heard about him being jimz's brother. So no I have idea.
I'm not sure but I think Kano passed away, he was a nice person, but I'm not sure about his knowledge. If he is passed, may he RIP.
Expeller, I remember and he made me laugh. Sometimes I wonder if Solar Wind is the same person, but that is just speculation. BTW, Solar Wind makes me laugh a lot.
As you know I came here with many questions challenging AGW based on the ''pause'' and other potential culprits such as cosmic rays, I was very and still am interested in Jasper Kirkby's CLOUD research. But it started warming again and faster than I expected and it's not because of cosmic rays, although it is interesting research on it's effects on clouds. I still have respect for Nir Shaviv and still think he's hot...sweet looking physicist!
I think that evolution of climate models has helped a lot in understanding how it works. Link in boxie. The first model was very poor, the last one is rather sophisticated.
Anyhow Ottawa Mike IMHO wins the prize.
xx

Graphicconception by far. He was able to cherry pick the information to "prove" his points, later on he got sloppy and when he got confronted, he stopped posting in here.
Most of the others just re-posted articles they read on the pseudoscience (denier) sites. And then claim people who accepted the consensus as being unable to think for themselves. Which always made me laugh...

Probably Ottawa Mike or Randall would get my vote. Interesting that graphicconception's profile is public, he's still quite active but exclusively posts in politics. Wonder why he stopped posting here?
Bottom of the barrel would be Solar Wind and Sagebrush. I would put Rio, BB and James E and maybe Mike (with the old monster movie avatars) on that level as well. Note that they are all still in the barrel.
Below the barrel, several feet underground, would be Joker. Daro and Davie Bwoi would be there alongside him as they are the only two who ever publicly agreed with him and believed everything he said. I'm pretty sure one of them was responsible for a lot of the posts in the style of Joker that were not written by Joker himself -- the real identity of the one Joker calls "mystery man".
On that same level I remember someone called Starbuck for a while, he had a similar kind of brazenness and one-way accusations as Joker.
CO2 Expeller (I think his actual name was "I expel CO2 every time I breathe") I thought was a pseudonym of another user on your list, although I don't remember which one.
